Special Campaigns/National Soup Day 2012

National Soup Day on 31 May 2012 is a campaign in South Africa that is aimed at helping to feed those most in need during the cold winter months.

Last year we supported National Soup Day by giving a cup of soup and two slices of bread to all the learners at Prestwich Primary School in Green Point, Cape Town.

This year we will be serving two schools with a heartwarming cup of soup and two slices of bread. The schools are Prestwich Primary School (762 learners) and Hillwood Primary School (1,004 learners) Read More.

Please help us to feed learners from one of these local primary schools? Many of these children come from homes where parents are unemployed, chronically ill or have elderly grandparents who take care of them. The teachers often dig into their own pockets to buy food for these children. Will you help us to make a difference so that we can reach out to many hungry children. With your help we will ensure that those in need have a bowl of soup to help fight the cold.
