42 children at a centre in the rural area of Nkqubela Township, Robertson are in need of a kitchen/toilet.  

Location: Nkqubela Township in Robertson
About: Lucy decided to open Lingelihe Care Centre in 2011 as she wanted to take care of vulnerable children in her own community.  She wanted to create a safe and caring space for children while parents were working out in the farm fields.
Challenge: A single wooden structure serves as both classroom and kitchen which is not safe for small children.
The need: 6m kitchen/toilet
Beneficiaries: 42 children, aged 3 months to 5 years old
Target Goal: R131 000 – R151 000
