Doringrosie Dagsorg is in need of an additional classroom, a kitchen and toilet to ensure that the children have a safe and hygienic introduction to school.
Doringrosie Dagsorg was established in 2019, and operates from 7.30am to 3pm from a wooden shack structure. The children attending the school range in age from one to five years old. They are assisted with reading and singing classes by a local capacity-building organisation called Yebo Yes, and an individual supporter helps with art classes, excursions, and a year-end concert.
There is not enough space for all of the children, but due to its popularity, the centre has potential to grow. They also only have one toilet cubicle, which is not sufficient for the numbers attending the school regularly. They don’t have a dedicated separate kitchen.
