Leave a legacy that shapes the future

Leaving a gift to charity in your will allows you to support the causes you care about long into the future. Whether it is a specific amount, an asset, a portion of your estate, your gift helps children access safe learning spaces, education and opportunities for years to come. Legacy giving is a meaningful way to extend your values, create lasting change and make a difference in children’s lives long after you are gone. Every legacy gift helps us continue nurturing children, families and communities across South Africa. To learn more, please contact us.

Frequently asked questions

When is a good time to make a Will?

The simple answer is now. Surprisingly, many people die without making a Will, which means family or friends left behind may face some tricky problems. By making a Will now, you can have the peace of mind that you have protected your estate and provided for your loved ones.

Many people prefer to see donations made to Breadline Africa in lieu of floral tributes. If this is stated in your Will, the executors can make sure that your wishes are known.

This is up to you. Charities like to know in advance so they can both acknowledge your generosity and make sure they can accommodate your wishes

While some gifts may be large, many are small. Regardless of size, all gifts are important to help continue our vital work.
