Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your Will to help generations of children in South Africa to learn and grow. Gifts like the one you are considering right now, form the foundations upon which we are able to build the futures of thousands of South African children.
How your gift will help
Even a modest gift becomes a powerful catalyst for change, enabling us to provide vital infrastructure for education.
Like many of our dedicated donors who have already left a bequest in their Will, you may rest assured that your wishes will be honoured. Once you have remembered family and friends in your Will, you may decide to leave a gift to the children of Breadline Africa.
With a legacy gift we can continue providing sustainable solutions to under-resourced communities and vulnerable people. Breadline Africa’s community-based projects are clustered into three main groups and your gift will help us to continue our work in these areas
Classrooms, toilet facilities and or kitchens using converted shipping containers and prefabricated units, to replace unsafe shacks
Feeding programmes, school stationery packs and educational outings to develop good learning outcomes
Converted shipping containers and prefabricated libraries to improve literacy levels
How to include a gift in your Will
Thanks to Breadline Africa’s membership of the National Free Wills Network in the UK, we are able to offer individuals and couples who support Breadline Africa the opportunity to have their Will(s) written free of charge using the services of a solicitor local to their address. This offer is open for a limited period and applied to the writing of ‘simple’ Wills, in other words, Wills that do not have to deal with complex issues. Breadline Africa hopes that you will take this opportunity to make provision for loved ones and also consider including a gift in your Will to support our work for generations to come – although there is no obligation to do so.
Please email Wendy Hill in our UK office at email@example.com or telephone her on 01473 259048 and she will be happy to help.
Alternatively, please complete the form below and we will be in touch with more information.
If you already have a Will and simply wish to add a gift to Breadline Africa, you can complete a codicil form and store it with your Will. A codicil is read alongside your Will and allows you to make changes without having to rewrite it. We would recommend you visit a solicitor for advice on making a codicil.
“It’s been a wonderful thing to see the joy and excitement in the eyes of our children as the library started taking shape. We’re excited to open the doors and let the children enjoy the incredible resource that has been created for them.”
Shahid Mathews – Principal, Cecil Road Primary School
“I would like to thank everyone. Before, it was difficult and even dangerous to cook in the classroom, so I would have to wake up at 4am to start preparing meals at my home. On the day that the new kitchen container arrived, I was like a young child – beyond excited! I even got out of bed on the first night to make sure it was real and still there. I will keep thanking you all until the sun goes down.”
Ms Nonzuzo Mzinyathi – Principal of Lukhanyiso Educare Centre
