Shamiel joined the Breadline Team in 2023 as the Programmes and Operations Manager. He has 19 years of experience fulfilling roles as Senior Facilities Manager, Project Manager and Maintenance Manager both in the Corporate and Private Sector.

Shamiel completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying as well as a Diploma in Construction. Shamiel is passionate about changing the lives of both people and animals alike.

He is a director of an NGO called Animal Life Welfare Organisation (ALWO), a Cape Town-based organisation that cares for animals and that teaches children how to care for animals.
